What's new

Bogey 11-21 FG, 35 points!

It's weird, for Indiana last year, and also to begin the season this year, I thought he finished those tough layups really well, but from the start of December (or something), he's really dropped off in that category. At least it feels like that.
Some people have tied this to Conley's presence making things easier for him. I'm somewhat inclined to believe that.

Why DF do the Jazz launch and miss 2 3s in the last seconds , when all they need was one 2 pointer to seal the win??? Good thing the refs bailed them out on the last play.

He's no Doncic but calling his handles awful is a bit of a stretch.
It's awful.

If he has to dribble from outside the 3pt line in on anyone who is decent at perimeter D it's usually bad news. That's why we run curls so he can get the ball with momentum and not have to cross-over or do anything above his handle level.

The jazz are #1 in the nba for 3 point % and clutchness in the final 2 minutes of a game. That's a feels good we haven't felt before
It's been an awesome run to watch. I'm enjoying each game immensely.

It's amazing the difference it makes not having to close games with Rubio and Crowder anymore.

Donovan himself is #4 in the league in scoring in the clutch when the games are only separated by 5 points.

Bogey's contributions are observable. They are replicable phenomena. Empirically, he is adequate, if not "the truth." We empiricists do not buy into other stories about NBA reality.
