Boom Bitches and We Aren't Very Good

Boom Bitches had a nice solid night for the Griz last night. Also is it time for the Jazz to eat Novak's Clark's and Evan's contracts and go fishing for someone that could actually help. I really think the tired excuse is unaccpetable.

I swear to god I have no more jealousy in my life than right here for whomever's alt this is. ****ing legendary interneter, whoever you are.

Just because someone is an idiot doesn't necessarily mean he's an alt. The world is filled to capacity with stupid.

Koufos is just one of many that we've either traded for nothing or just let walk, and have turned into decent NBA players.

Koufos
Matthews
Millsap
Korver
Carroll
Jefferson
Humphries

(you're ruining my bit playing off this, dawg...the ole "bit within the bit" bit, they call it.)

I have a feeling most every team has a list like this

Millsap, Korver, and Matthews were already decent NBA players when the Jazz let them walk :(

It would be unwise to cut/buy out anyone's contract until after the trade deadline. You never know whose contract may be just right to make a trade work.

I like to think the world's capacity for stupid is boundless.

Why doesn't Novak ever play? I get it, he's one dimensional. But when you're elite at that dimension you should at least see the floor for a couple minutes. Dude doesn't even play in blowouts, does he?

It just seems I have heard the "tired" excuse from Locke and Snyder before. If the lads are tired put these other guys in the game or get rid of them. Perhaps they would have some value at the trade deadline but it seems obvious to me that Snyder has no confidence in Clark, Novak or Evans. Surely there are guys in that minor league or playing overseas that could help. We have cut guys this year we have owed money to. Now is the time.

Humphries? I'd have traded him for a for a nice MLT – mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe. They’re so perky, I love that.

I too am curious why Evans and Novak get literally zero burn. I guess coach has seen enough in practice to know what he has, and apparently he doesn't think he has very much there.

I'm guessing he wants to build chemistry with the guys or type of guys he wants going forward. I won't believe a good coach can't find a way to use the unique talents of Jeremy Evans. Every great coach would find a way to abuse teams with him for a few plays every game. There's another reason Jeremy isn't playing, a reason that fits into Snyder's long term planning.

A very simple reason: Evans won't be here next year. And neither will Clark. Why waste time giving minutes to players who won't be here? Isn't that the Corbin way that we complained about for 3 years? As for Novak, he flat out sucks on the defensive end. We got a 2nd for taking on his TWO year contract. Big deal. Those can be bought for less.

Koufos I could understand, still not a productive player post trade. Kris Humphries had years to develop and in my opinion never did. His highlight is banging a Kardashian broad. The rest we could have at least made an effort.

There have been many drafts that we have failed on more than we won.
1999 Scott Padgett was drafted ahead of Manu Ginobili
2001 Raul Lopez was selected in front of Jamaal Tinsley, Gerald Wallace, Samuel Dalembert, Bobby Simmons, Mehmet Okur, Gilbert Arenas and Tony Parker
2002 Curtis Borchardt was selected in front of Luis Scola, Nenad Krstic, John Salmons, Matt Barnes, Tayshaun Prince and Carlos Boozer
2004 Kris Humphries was selected in front of Al Jefferson, Josh Smith, J.R. Smith, Jameer Nelson, Tony Allen, Kevin Martin and Anderson Varajeo
2007 Morris Almond was selected in front of Aaron Brooks, Arron Afflalo, Tiago Splitter, Carl Landry Glen Davis, Ramon Sessions and Marc Gasol

Keep in mind that even though DL is the GM, KOC is pulling the strings behind the scenes as President of basketball operations. The same guy that failed to recognize talent while these drafts were taking place that I listed above.

Easy, defense. As soon as he gets on the floor the opposing team start posting him up or attack the basket...and they score every single time. Sure, he can knock down a couple of threes but his overall contribution is detrimental to the team. PF is our deepest position. Why would you give him minutes when you are still trying to develop the other bigs? and also have Booker, who can provide energy, some scoring and his defense is obviously better than novak

Can the Jazz cut/buy Novak out this summer. Or is he guaranteed to be on the team next year?
