Boozer KFAN rumor

Don't know if Reddick has QO yet, but they will offer. True that his salary isn't yet set for next year. That's another complexity to including Reddick: it has to work for Jazz, Orlando, Boozer and Reddick. If anyone doesn't agree, no deal (or you bump Reddick out and include Pietrus, who doesn't have to agree.

On Gortat AND Bass, I doubt that Magic would give up two bigs just for roster purposes.

I thought they had to do the QO by July 1st....

Gortat is unproven and his contract could be horrendous with the new CBA. Given that trading AK and bringing back less salary is not a given, I don't see how this team, with the additions of Gortat and Redick/Pietrus/Anderson is worth paying the tax for.

This would be a retarded trade, as is gives us quantity not quality. Also, as I stated in a previous thread, Gortat is just a more polished version of Fes. The only way I would do a S&T w/ Orlando is for Vince, then we flip Vince...

come on GORTAT >> fess

BTW. Yesterday in polish newspaper Gortad said that Otis don't want he go anywhere. But Marcin definitely want to leave Orlando.

I was hoping that any S&T that we made using Boozer would result in at least one better than average player coming to the Jazz. At least a high draft pick with potential. All I am seeing here is an abortion of a team. I'd rather lose Booz for nothing, play with the scraps that we have and go into next year with enough money to make some noise.

The Jazz are screwed.

I guess ppl don't know Gortat AT ALL. Un-athletic. In the dude's pre-draft measurements he cleared 12'2'' on maximum reach. Putting him in the top 10 in the Draft Express draft measurements stats.

He's 7' tall with a 7'3.5'' wingspan and a 36'' vertical leap.

I would rather have Pietrus than Redick. Gortat could average 13 10 and 2. This should be a no brainer. But I would only want Pietrus and nobody else. Maybe Brandon Bass if needed. I actually like Redick a lot but we already have a undersized shooting guard in Matthews.

D-Will - Price - Gaines
Matthews - Miles
Pietrus - AK - Hayward
Millsap - AK - Koufos
Gortat - Okur - Fesenko

We wouldn't be that far over the cap. And I think this makes a tougher and longer and more athletic. We wouldn't be a contender but this makes us better now than last year in my opinion. Maybe not as good during the regular season but in the playoffs we would be better.

Gortat scores 3 points and grabs 4 rebounds a game....he makes close to 7 million a year. His numbers might project well with playing time, but most likely they will not. Pass.

People in here flay the front office for being cautious and yet look at this bunch of old ninnies.

Gortat is worth the chance, the team needs to take the risk and grab him.
