Lets all get real though, this is fan speculation, not actual speculation. We wanted Cousins, not Favors. I can guarantee we will not trade for Favors, unless its an extremely favorable deal where we dont have to take on any huge contracts.
Trade what??? What leverage does the Jazz REALLY have utilizing Boozer?
I can't see why Nets would want Boozer over Favors. Nets are young and have time to build a contender. Favors has far more upside than Boozer ever did. Favors and Lopez together have a 10 year plus window of opportunity. Nets don't need to get Lebron to be very good. They have enough money to add players like Joe Johnson at SG and Rudy Gay at SF to be instant playoff team next year.
Favors is much, much, much too valuable an asset to be a component for a Booze S&T. This is crazy talk.

You completely over-rate Favors. He has accomplished NOTHING other than bad stats for someone with his supposed talent. He is an underachiever on a bad team. Boozer is a 20/10 guy, and anyways, Boozer ISN'T THE PRIZE. YOU ARE TRADING FAVORS FOR LEBRON. Boozer gets you LeBron. Wade isn't going to play with LeBron, Bosh wants to be his own man, and he can't do that with LeBron, Amare isn't as good as Boozer (and before you shake your head, 4 rebounds in the playoffs is not good. That is pathetic) and Boozer is better than Johnson. Like I said before, with Boozer, NJ has the best chance of landing LeBron because they can give him everything he wants, unlike everybody else.
Favors is a lot closer to Marvin Williams than to Boozer.
Lol, Favors is a beast who can rebound and play defense. He put up bad numbers at GT because the position he played at had a good upperclassmen at it. Also their guards blew and couldnt get him the ball. Favors is nothing like Marvin Williams, he is nothing like Boozer either (besides rebounding ability). He is more like Dwight Howard, an athletic freak with a big frame who is a willing defender.

You're missing the point. We're talking about Favors as an asset, not how good he is or isn't. He's an extremely, extremely, valuable asset to Jersey. If they told everyone he was available, they'd be inundated with phone calls.
PURE SPECULATION ON MY PART. But in my mind, it makes PERFECT sense.![]()
No one is going to do a sign and trade for Booz - there is no reason to do so. He will not be given a max contract.
