Jackie MacMullan was on PTI today and said the Celtics have been talking about Al Jefferson this past year. She said she thinks they will clear up cap space this offseason and depending on whether Garnett retires or not, if he does she thinks they will go after Al Jefferson for him to return to Boston.

I could see that happening only if KG retires...from what I've heard/read KG and Big Al really don't like each other. As long as he ain't in Utah I'll be happy

Ainge can't be that bereft of common sense. Al Jefferson will only win a title if he assumes an Antoine Carr type role where he comes off the bench and scores for a good team.

you guys should focus your efforts are making sure Mo doesn't come back. That is more likely to happen imo.

Not as bad. PG market sucks, Mo not center of alfense, and once in a while he has a really good game where he looks like a top 10 PG.

I guess maybe, Al is a good bridge for them while they rebuild. Probably make the playoffs in the East with Rondo and Jefferson and the others they have. Al would be a good bridge for many teams. He could help them win some games, and he puts up gaudy numbers that make great headlines--better than winning 14 games and being irrelevant before Christmas.

Still, I want to see what happens with the coaching carousel and see who breaks apart their teams before I start guessing at where all the current jazzmen will be when they become former jazzmen.

Dude, he's trying to heist the stealth tank.

Yea, cause that really worked for the Jazz.
