Well, I've long considered that there is trend in human judgment where we judge others by our own sins. We expect others to have motives like our own. We expect others to think like we do. . . .
I actually went to the google page, which does not have any link to any damn story anything like what you describe. No one got shot because some idiot opened fire on the wrong guy. A CCW permit holder who was carrying his gun said he arrived after the shooting had stopped and saw two men struggling, and at first thought the man struggling with Loughner was the shooter..... but he wasn't sure so he didn't use his weapon. Pretty damn responsible decision for a "crazy CCW weapon-packing idiot" I'd say.
You should get your link and read it before you make up some stupid *** lie to prove your point.
you've been looking pretty stupid through this whole thread, and acting like you just want to hype the bombing to promote mob action or reckless government responses.
I give most of our mainstream media low credibility for their irresponsible "reporting" too, and rank the obvious attempt at using these tragedies to incite the public to extreme reactions as one of the reasons to ask more questions about the "facts" we're being told.
So....... here's what you said:
A gun tooting idiot saw this and opened fire on the man, NOT the kid (who was the murderer). Man, I love the second amendment... We almost had another death in that incident just because some moron thought that he would take the law into his own hands.
And here's what was reported:
Loughner was tackled to the ground by 74-year-old retired United States Army Colonel Bill Badger,[26] who had been shot himself, and was further subdued by Maisch and bystanders Roger Sulzgeber and Joseph Zamudio.
Zamudio was a CCW holder and had a weapon on his person, but arrived after the shooting had stopped and did not draw his firearm.[27] Zamudio later stated that he initially mistook the identity of the shooter and had considered drawing his weapon before realizing that individual was not the shooter.[28]
So Zamudio actually kept his weapon hostered and help subdue the Loughner with his physical strength. . . ..
I think this says a lot about CCW permit holders being responsible citizens with good judgment.
Well, you might be a hothead who won't think or use good sense. It might be a good idea for you not to get your CCW permit and not carry a gun. But for you to judge the general populace as being just as stupid or crazy as you are is. . . . well what the hell. . . .. you wouldn't understand if somebody tried to tell you.
And this is probably true of most of our "reporters" who work for our major mainstream "news" organizations, I suppose. They might be thinking other people can't be trusted any more than they could be.
