Sorry I was called away, have updated the OP with a link to the developing story.
Interested to see what happens with this. Hopefully they will know the cause soon.
When I first heard this yesterday, my first thought was "I hope there are no Americans on the flight." And then I was a little horrified that I cared more about whatever Americans would be on the plane, even though I wouldn't likely know any of them, than if they were from another country, also unlikely to be known. Nationalism is a weird and interesting thing.
