After Pop's wife dying and this b.s. i'd probably just retire. They are not competing for championships anytime soon.
This isn't too far fetched, right?
-2018/19 Celtics:
-Scary Terry, Smart, Brown, Tatum, Bron, Kawhi, Horford etc
With Cleveland getting Hayward and filler and San Antonio getting Kyrie and picks.
Spitballing here!
I would think your wife dying would make you want to work more. Retiring as a widowed old man could be very lonely. After Pop's wife dying and this b.s. i'd probably just retire. They are not competing for championships anytime soon.
Good point.I would think your wife dying would make you want to work more. Retiring as a widowed old man could be very lonely.
I'm hoping DL can help "facilitate" the trade by dumping Burks as filler and getting the Laker's or Spur's first round pick.
Yeah, I know, wishful thinking.
With the Celtic trade option, Hayward would only play 7 minutes with Brad Stevens as coach.
He played that much? Could've sworn he got injured 2 minutes in.
SA is not going to send him to LA unless either of those teams give them everything they want and more. SA isn't going to facilitate a super team in the Western Conference. SA is a more competent organization than that. Kawhi can say he wants to go wherever he wants, the Spurs get to trade him. I imagine they will take the best they can to send him east tbh. If the Spurs don't trade him to LA, he won't be able to sign their next season if Lebron and PG are both there, they wouldn't have the cap space. SA isn't going to straight out facilitate another super team in the west when they can prevent it.Kawhi wants to be in LA. That's known. People are talking about the Lakers, but not as much the Clippers. With Tobias Harris and their draft picks this year they could put together a very attractive offer with Kawhi likely signing an extension. This better not thwart the potential we have with Tobias Harris.
Sure there are plenty of options for Pop. See Sloan"s marriage.I would think your wife dying would make you want to work more. Retiring as a widowed old man could be very lonely.

True, I still find that weird. If you are going to be an old rich guy who remarries a much younger women, you might as well go really young. Get a 30 year old, go for the full 40 year age gap instead of the 20 Sloan did.Sure there are plenty of options for Pop. See Sloan"s marriage.
And **** the Lakers ofc. I think teams are probably bitter that every year a new free agent gets rumored to go there.Woj already tweeted that SA probably won't send him to the Lakers. They can get a better deal elsewhere, without helping create another super team in the West.
