What's wrong, exactly, with telling you that I'm putting you on my ignore list, and then putting you on my ignore list? Also -- I don't see a button. But when someone else quotes your message, it shows up for me, apparently.

But I mean, in case you don't already know it, Sloanfeld, you are the worst, you know. Just the absolute worst.

I find the idea of Sloanfeld pwning anyone to be remarkably unlikely. I'll take your word for it, though. :)

Okay, I looked at his comment to see what this pwning could be. Actually, I didn't see that the thread was started by Sloanfeld initially. On the main Jazzfanz page, it shows the thread title and the "Last Comment by" field. I often just click on the arrow next to that last comment field to go to the most recent post in a thread. It's a quick way to stay afloat on threads without having to navigate pages of stuff you may have already read. So I really had no prior warning, and I didn't come in here because of Sloanfeld.
