No. We can take back as much salary as we want to, as long as we have the cap room for it.
Yeah, I thought so but wasn't positive.

Dont contracts have to match to within a certain degree?
Da **** is this?
Just cause they are open to trading him doesn't mean they will.
the way you know that Burke aint worthless is due to the number of teams going after him.
Only way Burke becomes expendable is based on the development of Neto. If Neto becomes a damn good playmaker, then he & Exum might work as the 1-2 punch, forcing Burke out of the rotation (pending we keep Burks).
Mine. Add some Jazz draft picks tot he Atlanta deal and we're a contender.

Now that DET has traded away Brandon Jennings... may be there is a chance they might want Burke?
What could they offer us to make it worthwhile? They have a pretty full roster and seems to be in a 'win now' mode with SVG being the coach as well as the GM... would they give up a draft pick for Burke?
Agree. Also, why at this point in the build would a front office gamble on that happening? Exum and Neto both look like busts. You don't hitch your cart to those horses unless you want to disappoint Hayward and see his *** as he walks on to an airplane heading to Los Angeles.
I've said this before-- I think we hold off on big trades unless Hayward starts getting antsy.
