**Breaking** Trey Burke being discussed in Trades!!!!

My question, if not asked before, is this: would New Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday put us, not only in the playoffs, but move us to the second round? And at what cost? Inquiring minds want to know! Scuttlebutt says he's available!

Their front office just called him "untouchable" the other day. The options are Teague at a fairly high price or Lawson at bottom of the barrel prices.

Ty Lawson is interesting. I think it makes sense in a lot of ways. I think our point guard position is strengthened as long as he 'buys in'. If he pulls a Kancer then we can give him the boot. All for a 1/2 year rental of Trey Burks. If we did this, I would want the Jazz to keep Green. I have liked what I have seen so far.

Green sucks! Sorry maybe we differ in opinion.

I agree with you, I think he should start over Neto. May be not right away, but over time.

I don't. No need to put pressure on an addict nor make him think the starting job is simply his. Make him earn it. Plus we need offense off the bench.

Never heard of Scuttlebutt, but Spears says the Pelicans aren't likely to trade him. I think they would ask for a core player like Hood.

I think Trey is a really good fit for Houston. Helping Houston compete with us for a playoff spot should also be a notable concern of our, in my opinion

The thing that strikes me is that if Lawson does well and the Jazz want to keep him past next year, he'll be gone. That's the upside, isn't it?

I've loved Lawson in the past, but I'm not sure about this.

so it seems we are determined to ship out Trey come hell or high water ..??? He or his dad have asked for a trade or the team is ticked with him for some particular reason ?

And/or the Jazz respect him enough, after determining that he's not in the long-term plan, to let him see if he can make a go at it in a different situation. Even if it doesn't yield an ideal return.

Trey sucks.
It seems that the jazz have played some of their best basketball during this recent stretch of games that trey has missed

Maybe not.
I mean if he is doing well here then maybe he would want to continue to do well?

I think like others have said, including Andy Larsen, it's Trey who wants out, and like Kanter is pressuring the Jazz to trade him.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's Trey who wants a trade, but at least he's quiet about it. He might be a better fit in HOU...just not totally sold on Lawson.

Rumor is that while Burke didn't ask for a trade he asked the Jazz to be put into a position to start. The Jazz will try to honor that thru a trade.

You mean the games with Favors and Gobert healthy and together for the first time and against generally poor competition?

I just mean that Burke isn't great, or that good, but he's definitely an NBA player of some degree who will help teams if used correctly. Would be dumb for it to be our comp. for the playoffs, if you ask me
