It looks ridiculous. Discuss.

they shoulda just dropped the "Nets" thing. stupid to begin with.

that said, nothing will ever be as bad as Utah's mountain thing or the late Hakeem-era Rockette's uniforms.

Is it really black and white?

I actually like the sort of turn of the century, industrial vibe. The 'B' in the middle of the ball is stupid though. Shoulda had the Brooklyn Bridge spanning through the ball instead or something.

And the words "The City" arched over it.

Its not the greatest, but there are worse out there. I mean, I know its sort of a legacy thing, but the Celtics literally have a old short irishman as their logo.

The first thought that entered my mind was "Yep, Deron is gone for sure now".

Logo reminds me of a crappier version of the Bruins logo:

The jerseys are just as bad:

Everyone said the same thing when the Broncos came out with their new jerseys back in '98 or so. Then they won a Super Bowl that year and next and everybody thought they were cool as hell.

...since Brooklyn, N.Y. could easily be the "hip hop" capital of the USA, they should have some type of logo that reflects that heritage! You know, someone with the crooked hat, baggy pants, jailhouse tats, gold teeth. I'm sure one of you guys could come up with something more suitable....and then show us!

I know it's your schtick, but you're such a goddamned idiot.

I like the black and white, but the Heat and Spurs are already doing it. Way to be a trend setter Nets.
Besides, red white and blue in New York made perfect sense, why change it? It was a classic, going back to the ABA days.
And the "B" suits them perfectly. With the Knicks in the same state, they're obviously the "B" team there.
