The @bucks and forward John Henson have come to terms on a four-year extension in the $45 million range, according to ESPN sources

in today's NBA, that's going to be good value for Henson. Several insiders think he's likely to have a step up in production.

What a weird signing. The guy could barely get on the court. They've shown little to no interest in him as a player. But now they are signing him to a fat contract? Wtf?

Wow, Favors was an absolute steal!! and I really think that the Bucks our going to be a fun team to watch for years to come! Maybe Bucks vs Jazz in the Finals 2019 :)

Also so whats to Tristan Thompson now? Can he sign a 1 year deal still? Seems like he just gave away all his leverage?

Anthony Davis blocking John Henson to win the game vs UNC will always be one of my favorite blocks of all time.

I was watching this live with my friend who's a UNC fan, we had some bets on the game.. it was glorious.. the key argument we were having was about Henson vs Davis too, that play was irrefutable proof of who was better, to my eyes.

Henson is the type of player that I'd ask a random NBA fan about to test their overall knowledge of random players, if you show up to this thread and bash him or the contract, I'm not going to argue about it. IMO - He's a good player for sure. Derrick Favors is, and always was, considerably better though...

Henson, Brandan Wright and Ed Davis were 3 of my favorite prospects(relative to consensus) from UNC.

This is not a bad deal, this is Amir Johnson money, Not to be confused with Derrick Favors money.... that deal was signed in 2013. under these conditions Favors would never get paid like that, so its an afterthought.

Off-topic - apparently Tristan Thompson let deadline pass without accepting the Cavs' qualifying offer.

Some weird ****. I really thought Thompson was going to be inline for a great year (relative to his previous years) since it seems to be kind of a revelation they can play him at center (especially in the big man weak East). I really thought he would just take the QO and get paid the real big bucks next year.
