BUM BUTLER waived

I’m a bit surprised. I think most people are underselling Dok, though, and they must’ve felt Butler’s peak a wasn’t far off. Hard to get too excited about the stability of the current roster anyway. I’m sure there will be several more changes coming before we have a stable core.
Yes, the current core roster should be refined. Do you think Dok can do even better? I think he's already at a sufficient height, but in principle he could be better, but not by much, I think. However, it all depends on the guy himself.

At this point I believe Kessler has the higher ceiling, but Dok has a great beast mode and motor that will surprise some folks if he can stay healthy and get some minutes.

Jazz have until Oct 31st to either pick up or decline the 3rd year options for both Bolmaro and Dok.
Dok is an easy no… his money is much bigger and i think he is minimum guy or possibly out of the league if he can’t stay somewhat healthy.

It would be insanely miserly to not pick up Bolmaro's option.

It is madness to me that a team near the salary floor would not pickup a rookie-scale player's option. Either that means the owner is truly just penny-pinching, or they just flat-out don't believe in a prospect at all, such that they aren't even worth a roster spot. I think the cost to find out if Bolmaro becomes a useful piece is negligible, but I flat-out don't believe in Dok.
