Just read he is out of the boot. His injury is a 4 to 6 week recovery and we just finished week 5. Just in time for a trade.

There. Fixed your fixiness.

I think Atlanta is in a terrible bargaining position... go listen to Salt City Hoops podcast from last night... the hawks affiliate guy was on there and basically said he think Teague has one foot out the door. He has put his house/condo up for sale and apparently has never been happy about the way they treated him in FA.

Long and short.... Good to have Burks back and we may never lose again when we get Teague with healthy Burks.

Burke and a pick for Teague.
Jazz keep hoodini

If the Teague trade can be done with only Burke and some picks then hell yeah. I'd like to see Burks a Jazzman. he is just the most tradable to me from what I consider our core. (Gobert, Favors, Hayward, Hood, Burks and Exum)

I agree... I think his injury temporarily made me forget how good he is and can be. That contract will be a steal when he gets back and he has all the right attitude/work ethic components. Guy comes off the bench and doesn't complain... makes changes to his game without complaint. I'm not trading him for Teague... sorry atlanta.

RE Trading Burks/Burke: I think I'd be far more comfortable trading Trey than Alec. Trey can't pass or play defense very well. Alec can't (or won't) shoot the ball when he's open, but his drive game and defensive capabilities make him far more valuable than Trey. JMO

Atlanta has Mack; they probably won't want Burke. Burks is a better fit, unless a third team is involved.

I think Burke is better than Mack... if they didn't want him in the trade we could probably move Trey for something they would want.

[edited] to hell
Teague for Burke plus pick(s) would be a wet dream.

Don't want anything to do with trading for a pg but Burke and pick softens the blow. If Utah trades Burks for a pg I will go on the most explosive tirade on Jazzfanz ever!!!

Watching the Jazz this year has made me feel I am already there.
