Mission Accomplished is a troll good lord whose existence is based around having one really controversial bad take. Now that Hayward is gone I guess he has to attach himself to a new player to hate that makes no sense.
Kanter, is finally blossoming when they are letting him play not try to make a three point chucking big out of him. Same will happen to Favors and Burks when they leave.

Who tried to make him into a three point chucking big? He spent 3.5 years with us, played 265 games, and attempted 44 threes.Kanter, is finally blossoming when they are letting him play not try to make a three point chucking big out of him. Same will happen to Favors and Burks when they leave.

But don't even bring up Favors. We have gone above and beyond and out of our way for years to cater to the guy. More than 5 years ago, we should have told him to cut the crap and play center like he should. Instead, he feels like he's a PF and he never develops into anything special. Like you said, we made Kanter stand out and shoot three's. Hell, we made Millsap try to play SF.
If and hopefully soon when Favors goes elsewhere, I hope he has success. I really do. However, that will never be the fault of the Jazz. We did everything humanly possible to support him and make him a good player.
You must not have remembered his last year here.Who tried to make him into a three point chucking big? He spent 3.5 years with us, played 265 games, and attempted 44 threes.
When he averaged 0.8 attempts per game?
Similar is a far cry from the same. Mitchell has shown more actual talent in 40 Games than Burks has shown at any time in the NBA.
Especially considering Burks' biggest flaw is one of Mitchell's strengths. Defensively Mitchell is far better than Burks.
I really don't see many area's that Burks is even comparable to Mitchell. Mitchell is what we all hoped Burks would become, but he didn't and now Mitchell is better in almost every way. And it's not the leash that is different. Mitchell is simply already a better player than Burks.

Who am I exactly hating on. There is one play that is getting too many minutes that is Ingles. I'm saying Burks is good. Better then the fan base treats him.Mission Accomplished is a troll good lord whose existence is based around having one really controversial bad take. You mean he was chucking more than 0.8 per game?
Nope Jazz goal was to make him a stretch player. Just because he didn't shoot didn't mean that he wasn't standing out on the arc.You mean he was chucking more than 0.8 per game?

I can agree with you that maybe Burks becomes something after he leaves Utah. For some reason, he has always been on the outs. Maybe it's because he plays completely out of control, or maybe it's because there is a disconnect with the coaching.

No, that was never arguable. So dumb! Out of control? How long have you watched him? Never mind. Not worth it. But the guy was the man 2 years ago. In fact one could argue he was the better player out of him and Hayward. But you see what you want to see.
Favors was the third pick. Hayward the 9th. But, the Jazz felt they had a star in Hayward so they invested more heavily in Hayward. It is a cycle the Jazz always do this give certain players a bigger role more focus. It will continue to happen. No, that was never arguable.
