Burks Rookie Season Highlights

Thanks, it's not posted I think. At least I didn't catch. The music of it is a little bit sucky but it's very good mix.

Not saying he will be Kobe II but very similar stats in rookie season. Kobe was a slightly better 3 pt shooter and ft shooter. I would love to have a Kobe-esque player on our team. And he has the swag and the stamina to be our go to guy in crunch time. I am a big burks supporter if you cant tell. I hope he is great. I hope he turns out to be my 4 month old baby's favorite player some day

He goes to the rim as well or even better than Tyreke Evans does. LoL at the Jan Vesely blow-by. He shouldn't gain too much weight. Also, I like his ability to get a step and pull up for a short jumper. Would be great if he could keep developing that aspect of his game as well as getting to the rim.

Burks is my favorite player on the team, and i might be the biggest burks fan there is. Kid is going to be great. I went to the draft party last year and thought he would be picked around #8. I had him the 4th guy that i would draft behind irving, williams, and kanter. I couldn't believe he was still there at 12, so i agree naos that he is the steal of the draft.

Look in the video on the fast break against the mavs. He throws a nice little left elbow at jason terrys grill. I love his swagger and confidence.

Why do so many people Set themselves up for disappointment when the rest of the league overvalues 33% shooting with "potential"?

You know My dad always says...

33% really isn't that bad, especially considering he only shot 45 of them (15-45) last year.

First years in the league (3P%) compared to career averages:

Michael Jordan: 17% (32% career)
Reggie Miller: 35% (39%)
Chris Mullin: 18% (38%)
John Stockton: 18% (38%)
Jeff Hornacek: 28% (40%)
Glen Rice: 24% (40%)
Peja Stojakovic: 32% (40%)
Kevin Durant: 29% (36%)
Dirk Nowitzki: 20% (38%)
Marvin Williams: 24% (33%)
Mo Williams: 25% (38%)
Bryon Russell: 9% (36.9%)
Raja Bell: 33% (40%)
Gary Payton: 7% (31%)
Chauncey Billups: 33% (39%)

Nah, he won't improve. Studies prove it.
