Seems like a lot of folks are keeping quiet. . Eating crow etc.. Obviously he wasn't being utilized the proper way and trigga trey being hurt didn't help.. He got an unfair shake and is back to ballin. KANTER IS NOT GETTING TREATED RIGHT and the jazz will regret trading him if they do.

He's had maybe 5 good games this year, and a few fair games. Right now he's not much different than CJ Miles.

Burks misses those 3 three-pointers last game (as he usually does), and nobody will be calling anyone out for dissing him. I wish he can always play as well as he did last night. But he won't.

1 good game is 1 good game. It was great to see but you are over reacting. Let's see him keep it up before we start singing his praises. He has potential.

I think Burke needs to pride himself in being a great defender and knocking down spot up 3's at around 40%. If he does this, he'll be fine because he has a decent transition game.

For me, its the willingness to take those 3 pointers thats important in hindsight. I would be pissed if he went 0-4 from downtown, but him willing to shoot 3s is just good for spacing and will help his slashing game. The phoenix game basically had him going hard at the rim 100% of the time, and screwing up most of the time. Just shows a lot of mental growth by putting variety on shots imo.

I'm still unsure what to make of him at this point. He's been so inconsistent this season, even though he's been trying to learn different positions at the same time. I have a "wait and see" attitude, but don't think he will ever become more than a solid sixth man--that's his ceiling. I'd like to be wrong about that, though, and will wait and see.

for sure ... how long is it going to take Jazz management / Ty to figure out that were supposed to be developing tallent here... with the idea to win a ring .... Marv and RJ are probably not even going to be resighned .... so why the heck are we even playing them ... last year was a waste what are we tring to do here? ..... audtion players for other teams? we need to be playing our core guys and see what they can do! if not we will be sitting on a bunch of high draft picks and playing old washed up vets that can hardly run up and down the court

He's had solid back-to-back games now and is doing something that he has not in the past: creating for teammates and making pretty solid passes. 5 assists and 1 TO against PHO, 4 assists and no turnovers against the Rockets. That one assist when he was driving to his right at the top of the arc and swung a pass to the guy on the other side of the arc was a thing of beauty.

Too early to tell if TB can keep this going but if he does it will invalidate much of the criticism about Ty. Be interesting to see how this board reacts since there is always a high need for 1 or 2 folks to bag on.

Burks in a Bowen-esque role would be ideal, if he can develop that type of lock-down defender ability. I'm not sure he can, his bball IQ doesn't seem to be anywhere on Bowen's level so far. But a more athletic and skilled Bowen would be fantastic.

I'm no huge fan of Corbin, I want him gone, but I don't mind the usage of RJ and MW, though perhaps they could go 5 less minutes or something. This is because I view them as semi-solid veterans who really do help the development of the players around them through coaching and example. This is the same reason I hope JL the Turd never plays again, because he makes players around him worse.

Burks has the potential to be much better than he has mostly shown. We've seen flashes of his potential. I'm hoping our next coach knows how to utilize Burks.
