BYU @ Utah basketball game......

I guess I don't get the. College game Utes don't get the continuation and Jimmer does and Utes keep taking it to the rim but no fouls while Jimmer gets them on jumpers.
After typing that getting killed by long well defended 3's, hope the U remains mentally tough.

Kinda a microcosim of the U's season play good enough but mistakes/TO's keeping them out of it.
Although with Jimmer's 3's they'd be behind no matter what.

Clyburn isn't as good as I thought he was during the first few games of the season. Jimmer would have tied his career high if didn't try and dunk on a break away. Still though, he almost dropped fiddy.
 
I truly hope the Utes fire Boylen quickly. I'm tired of watching BYU blowing out Utah in Basketball. It's not even worth buying tickets anymore to watch 10 minutes of Basketball and then 30 minutes of BYU creaming some HS scout team(at least, that's how it appears to me).

I know Ute fans probably think that the PAC10 will solve all their ills in everything. But that program has a hellishly long way to go. Not much talent, hardly any depth, not much improvement from vet guys, and no excitement in the gym (hardly anyone comes anymore).

For so much talk about Utah Football taking over the in state recruits, look at what BYU and Utah State have done. Tai Wesley for Utah St. And team Utah County for BYU. Utah has been completely destroyed the last 5+ years in in state recruiting.
 
I do give credit to the Ute players. They always play hard. I can't believe more of them haven't had run-ins with Boylen. I admire their fight despite being aboard a sinking ship...
 
Oh yea keep pretending that dropping 3's like that is an every day occurrence, no doubt it was a season low, I don't watch them so I wouldn't know.
For the record most if not every fan knew it likely would be a bad loss but don't pretend your team shoots like that every night on average 13-20 from 3, it ended with 14 makes I think but the last 3-4min it was the bench missing a few.
Ute fans know this team is going to give up huge runs as they have all season due to inconsistent offense and turnovers.

Congratulations your team is much better I love that your experiencing so much success. Thanks for the kind words, sympathy and advice for us Ute fans. Your so much better then us fans I really respect you for not coming acting all smug and superior or sarcastic.
 
Man, that guy is so much fun to watch. Rhino charges up the court, takes about 2 or 3 steps from the half court line, pulls up in your face. You can't guard somebody that is looking to shoot at the point where most teams are calling plays. pulling up from 33 feet away. or 28 feet. or 25 feet. It's just insane. He's a nightmare. I feel so bad comparing him to Eddie House on the NBA level because I've watched him enough to know he is better than House. I just don't know where to put him. He is as confusing to grade out as someone like Adam Morrison. For BYU's sake, it would help a lot if they could have a guy in the NBA doing well so I hope he just continues to blow up.

But in the meantime, I'm watching every single game. All those people that love Youtube videos of little kids dribbling crazily and shooting 3's - Jimmer Fredette is that kid grown up and never stopped improving. And everybody probably should have just expected this, he is #7 on New York State's all-time high school scoring list after all. Thank you to all those big bad East Coast schools that thought they were too good for him.
