I quoted your post and this came out....... well I think Trout would approve of your message.

Also again no need to bother with numbers but just saying when Utah is good they win big and any other year it's been a close game in wins or losses.

My bad. I didn't count the most recent win. Just figured it was an anomaly after they were maimed and pillaged by the the only two teams worth anything on their shcedule.

So what are you asking me here? I think TCU is better than Utah, and I think the Notre Dame game was a fluke. But what does that have to do with Utah versus BYU?

They out gained you by 100 yards. That's a big deal in football. Yes, I'm that crazy category where I think turnovers should be considered beating yourself.

They wouldn't have outgained Utah if they wouldn't have been forcing things and trying risky throws. You could look at at least 4 or 5 more plays and say they should have also been turnovers.

Utah was the better team. Period. They beat them fair and square (no paid replay booth employees required) in San Diego.

BYU, on the other hand, not only needed questionable calls to beat SDSU (in Provo), but they needed questionable calls to beat Wyoming (in Provo). So take your weak smack out of here. BYU is going to get rolled today, by the team that has owned them 5 of the last 8 years (6 of 9 after today).

Thanks for clarifying that you think TCU is better than Utah. They only proved that **** on the field in a matter of seconds a few weeks ago.

Update: 3-0 BYU...some dumbass Phillips missed a field goal...yeah, the rest of the Pac-10 is quaking in their boots though.

Typical rivalry game but difference is Utes can't get out of their own way drops missed fg and the bs personal foul hands hit first and then it was face mask to face mask. Also rich hit smithson in his facemask and led with the crown of his helmet, on the Utes first first down.

Bro, you sound like the majority of Jazz fans on here who blame the refs after a loss.

The Utes just aren't very good. They'd be a middle of the pack Big East team.

Oh cause I said the Utes keep making mistakes but never blamed that one bad call as actually having any effect on the game, just voicing my opinion on the call

To further that the Utes have been way out played in the first half. Like I also said in another thread I said the Utes are playing and coaching so poorly that I thought they'd lose out unless coach Whitt pulled off a miracle

If BYU comes out with the mindset of running the ball early, they'll dig themselves a hole they might not be able to get out of. If the BYU coaching staff watched Utah's game film from the last 4 weeks, they'd be a bunch of idiots if they aren't throwing a ton. There's no way BYU will be able to establish any kind of running game against Utah's front 7. Utah's run defense is their teams biggest strength.
Hmmmm

Utah should be able to get rolling in the second half.

Surprisingly, Utah has outgained BYU, and won the turnover battle. All that is missing is a little better execution, and a little better play calling.

Whitt should hopefully make a couple tweaks at halftime and blow this thing open in the second half.

Bad play calling by BYU on 4th and on inside the 20. got to kick the FG there and go up 2 scores.
