What's new

Caitlin Clark

Clark just broke the WNBA single season assists record. Pretty incredible for a rookie to break an all time record.

I figured she had to be close to the turnovers record, so I looked it up. She's already the single season turnovers leader by a lot. She has 209 so far and the next closest is 137.

The TO's are so ridiculous

I've seen about 10 games, so not an expert, but in my opinion her handle is way too loose for someone who handles as much as she does. I'm not sure how much better she gets. She also still hasn't adjusted to the WNBA defenders and makes a ton of passes in to too tight of windows. I'm guessing that part of her game improves a lot.

Her handle looked loose in college as well. For me, I find it entertaining how she’s almost always on the same edge of both losing the ball and making an incredible play. She has that “No, no, yes!” factor like Curry did.

This article has some mind boggling numbers that show how much the WNBA has grown this season. Their ESPN numbers have almost tripled. They are now just slightly behind the NBA 1.2 million viewers vs 1.56 million viewers.

We figured Caitlin Clark's arrival in the WNBA would boost TV ratings. What we didn't see coming was the sustained magnitude.

Wonder if it will last for the next few seasons.
