What's new

Call me a homer a thousand times

I never understood why people use yahoo either.

I'd be ok putting a little money down. Not a ton, but something to keep people interested like you said.

I honestly don't care how much it is. It would probly be more fun if it was some kind of creative bet. I'll think of something before we draft.

Why and when are you coming down here? PM me if you'd rather

@SpyCam Cool. Hopefully we can Get a fantasy draft goin whil you're here.

btw you need to clear some PM space bruh.

I've never done a fantasy league, any sport, and I'm a super slow learner. Will I be able to get it?

You'll have to ask UGLI about that. I have no idea wtf he's talking about.

The fantasy thing is fairly simple and pretty fun. You'll catch on quick.

And no, orange, you shouldn't need to be present when we do it. It'll be a live draft, but everyone will just have to be online at the same time.

EDIT: but it'll be more fun for those of us who are together during the draft.

What do I have to bring to the party?

As a side note, if it is Yahoo, I refuse to play. I have standards.

What would I have to do in order to qualify for the STG fantasy thing?

Well, my hope is that we can do a live in person draft. Might not be possible, but if we can find enough that can do it, it would be fun.

Otherwise we will have to just do an online draft. You ever done fantasy basketball? Pretty simple.

Ok, to answer most the questions about the fantasy basketball league...

I'd like to do the draft live in person because that is much more fun and it helps create the feeling that your in a league with real people and will help the league be competitive and fun. If we cant find enough people that can do it live, we'll open it up for people that can only do it online.

The league will definitely be on ESPN.

The league HAS to have something at stake. I don't care if it is some sort of buy in or a creative bet, but it cant just be for funsies or else people will lose interest.

This is up for some debate, but I would strongly suggest/demand that we have the rosters lock weekly as opposed to daily. I don't want to be a slave to my fantasy b'ball league, having to change my lineup every single day. Rather just set it before the week starts and be done. Like I said though, this is up for debate.

Any more questions?
