The first trade would be worth looking at because of the potential to add assets, but it looks like Graham was just arrested for a DUI - I’m assuming that would complicate things.
Getting a young player with upside and another draft pick would be a coup for Conley at this point. What sort of protections does the Milwaukee pick have?
According to realgm, it's complicated:
2024 first round draft pick to New Orleans (swap, New Orleans incoming)
New Orleans has the right to swap its 2024 1st round pick for Milwaukee's 2024 1st round pick [Denver-Milwaukee-New Orleans-Oklahoma City, 11/23/2020]
2025 first round draft pick to New Orleans or New York
Milwaukee's 2025 1st round pick to New Orleans protected for selections 5-30 or to New York (via New Orleans to Portland to Detroit) protected for selections 1-4 (Milwaukee's obligation to New Orleans or New York will thereafter be extinguished) [Denver-Milwaukee-New Orleans-Oklahoma City, 11/23/2020; New Orleans-Portland, 2/8/2022; Detroit-Portland, 7/6/2022; Detroit-New York, 7/6/2022]
2026 first round draft pick to New Orleans (swap, New Orleans incoming)
New Orleans has the right to swap its 2026 1st round pick for Milwaukee's 2026 1st round pick [Denver-Milwaukee-New Orleans-Oklahoma City, 11/23/2020]
2027 first round draft pick to New Orleans
Milwaukee's 2027 1st round pick to New Orleans [Denver-Milwaukee-New Orleans-Oklahoma City, 11/23/2020]
So what I'm reading is two swaps (mostly worthless, perhaps '26 can be of interest), unprotected '27 + the weirdness in '25. Is that 1-4 it goes to NOLA, 5-30 to NYK, or vice versa?
