Can The Al Jefferson Experiment please end?

Jefferson's trade value and Millsap's trade value probably aren't going to get much higher at this point. To make a trade, the Jazz just need the right situation to arise with another team reaching for the panic button.

BTW, Mo Williams looked pretty good in a couple of these games, but yeah I'd like to see more Burks and less Tinsley and Foye.

Uh, no, try again.

You're right. I looked back and SAS only shot 74% in the first half. Unfortunately, this journey also brought a whole lot of fail on the part of Millsap--everything from pick and roll defense to help defending the rim from Tony Assassin.

I am terrified other posters will discover this as well & start calling for his head along with Jeffy's & Corbin's. That ain't right mang.

Hence the word, half.

For the record for those of you that don't know, I never wanted the experiment to begin.

I think Al is our main problem. I always have. From the day he got here, you could see it was bad basketball.

My biggest issue with Al is his lack of effort. He is exactly like Boozer on the defensive end. He doesnt try at all. If someone doesnt make him move he can block a shot, but basketball is a moving sport. Al's game just doesnt belong.

What I dont get is why the team cant see this, and why they wont do anything about it.

Maybe cobrin kept insisting on playing fat al during that denver run. to showcase him for a trade.
probem was it was a bad showcase.
and it lost is the game

and why didnt other guys get subbed. corbin and fat al's defense lost us the game

If Big Al is the main problem, then your real main problem is coaching and/or management. They got him, they play him, they focus the offense on him. We can see it, surely they can see it.

I think the main issue is likely that Ty is caught in "Jazz basketball" Stockton to Malone. They just seem to think that the only way to play is to pound it into the low post. Al IS pretty good at that, but his suckitude at every other aspect of basketball ruins it.

Stockton to Malone wasn't about post ISOs.

Sometimes you give it your best shot but it's just not a good fit.
