Can the Shelvin Mack experiment please end?

His defense is overrated.

He is slow.

Not a playmaker.

He can't shoot.

.....or make layups.

This season was doomed when Exum was hurt in the summer. :(

I think Lindsey and Quin both really dropped the ball with this one. Season's teetered out of control ... sure the schedule got tougher, but its hard to ignore the record post trading for Mack. Lindsey gave Quin a shiny new toy at the trade deadline, and Quin was given freedom to play with it as much as he wanted. The results... well. We're ****ed.

I think Snyder's mistake was starting him so quickly. He isn'tvery good and it crushed the confidence of Neto and Burke.

It has obviously hurt the chemistry and confidence of the team as a whole. We are giving up winnable games - games that we would have won in the pre-Mack days. I am a big QS fan but this is on him and makes no sense.

He's been awful a few games no doubt, but honestly, which Jazz PG hasn't been awful this season.

Perhaps Neto should get the most burn, but he's had plenty of dreadful games too. I think Burke should get more minutes than DNP-CDs, but he's no answer either.

Ummm no, these are NOT games the Jazz would have won. The Jazz were 19-25 before the winning streak, about where they are now at 29-34. So they've gone 10-9 over the last 19. It's the law of averages: take a look at the quality of opponents during that 7-game win streak, which included 5 home and 2 away. Charlotte and Chicago were the toughest teams they played at home; Dallas and Phoenix were the road games. That was an easy stretch and they had very tight games against Denver (4pt win), Milwaukee (3pt win) and at Dallas (2pt OT victory).

The schedule got tougher after that stretch. Really, the only big surprise is the loss at home to Brooklyn. Jazz picked up a great win at home against Boston, another close home win against Houston and a road victory against an inferior opponent (NO). Other than the aforementioned Brooklyn game, they've lost to opponents with better winning percentages. No real surprises. THIS is WHO UTAH IS!

As for that "shiny, new toy" Lindsey bought, it is anything but. Lindsey gave Quin a used, inferior hand-me-down. Dennis was intentionally CHEAP during the off-season and at the deadline. Where are all the sheep repeating, "don't skip steps?" This is what the majority of you WANTED: the supposed development of the youth. IT SUCKS and didn't have to be this way, but very few (and I have been one of them) ever had the balls to question the demigod, Dennis Lindsey.

relax it is all part of the plan, Mack is what Mack is. Lindseys knows whats up, maybe there are some guys with elite level balance in the draft.

John Lucas Jr. and Keith Mcleoud say hello.

I do not believe for one minute that we go 2-7 using the previous PG rotation. If you choose to do so that is your call.

Oh yeah, Neto and Burke were just lighting it up before Mack came along.

Other than the Nets game what games would the Jazz have been favored to win in this stretch?

You just can't lose all the games you are not favored. Gotta win sometimes against the upper tier too.

I have been on board of director fire Lindsey before even you can say it. I know he keeps this bake cake, Draft Jazz DNA (Lyles over Booker) mind! Jazz are not Spurs ok Sith Lord Lindsey! You can't keep use mind trick over and over. soon sheep will also see this and rise up for yell to LEAVE NOW!

Neto has certainly had his ups and downs but he was probably playing his best ball of the season right before the trade.
Absolutely, but even at his best he's inconsistent and doesn't produce all that much.

I think he has potential to be a solid backup and like his game, but I'm perplexed at this idea that the team would have won all these games if he were starting.
