Can Trey Lyles be Our Draymond Green?

I hear Quin is installing the "Jurassic Period" - one quarter of playing:

PF: Favors
C: Gobert
SF: Lyles
SG: Hayward
PG: Exum

That's one big ********* lineup! Let's see ANYONE shoot over those guys or get any rebounds.

Playmaking is more than just being able to make the pass... it's being able to put the ball on the floor, move the defense and make plays off the bounce. Gobert is good stationary passer, but if he has to make more than one dribble I kind of freak out.

It's very interesting thinking of playing Hayward and Lyles together.
We could have 4 playmakers on the floor.

5. Never doubt the power of the Gobert.

From the videos I watched on Lyles he does have good awareness and court vision - he also appears to be a smart player who understands spacing (especially during the fast break), and makes quick decisions. The guy has composure. As mentioned, I am most interested in seeing how he defends the NBA 4 as well as if he can stretch the floor by hitting shots consistently.

I think it will be super exciting! 5 playmakers on the floor, and hopefully in due time all 5 of them able to hit a 3! 5 wide out! That would open wide open lanes for cutters and rolling bigs... damn! I can't wait to see them try this one! In D it might be a bit problematic, but stilll... exciting nonetheless..
Gobert is too good to use this lineup more than sparingly.

Gs does it because bogut is no gobert.
And then there is favors to consider.

I think teams often use small ball to get all their best players on the floor at the same time.
Gobert and favors are two of our best players

I sure hope not. No need for him to be there really. Lets leave it to the players that haven't shown much in the league... put Trey Burke on the team.
This.
Gobert better not play.

(I'm certain he won't)

Lyles offensive potential is much better. He'll likely be our Karl Malone.

It blows my mind every time I think about how Draymond Green was runner-up in NBA DPOY. I remember watching him play his final year - of what seemed like 6 - at MSU. I felt bad thinking how his questionable athleticism might keep him from playing at the next level.
