Good lord, I can't believe I was excited for a TV series with Tom Hardy in it. This has to be one of the most disappointing shows I've ever seen. If you are going to make a TV show where incest is one of the main themes then the show better be damn good so I'm not watching a ****ty show with incest. Not only that, but Tom Hardy is playing the exact same character he always seems to play, a dark mysterious man whose man form of communication is grunting. The only interesting element in the show is Hardy's character's past, but that has only been brought up with weird vague flashbacks and hasn't really been used in any effective way yet.
Has anyone else been watching this? Is anyone enjoying it? I actually turned it off during the most recent episode as I couldn't take the shows pacing any longer. 4 episodes in and I was bored out of my mind. I'll wait till the season ends and see what the consensus is on the season and if the show managed to make any positive strides as they wrap it up.
