Boozer suffered the injury on Saturday during the Bulls' day off. According to team sources, Boozer tripped over a bag in his house and fell.
This makes a lot more sense. You don't fracture single metacarpals falling very much. The wrist would be sprained if that were the case, unless he landed with a clenched fist with a locked wrist, which is basically a punch anyway.
I'm calling Bull ****. He punched something.
''I was running, my doorbell had rang, and I tripped over a bag and fell down and tried to brace myself,'' he said. ''I'm 265 with 5 percent body fat. ... I guess my weight just collapsed my bone.''
The incident can be classified as a fluke, but Boozer's propensity for getting injured was one of the cons listed when the Bulls signed him as a free agent over the summer. He has missed 145 games in eight NBA seasons because of a variety of injuries, including a total of 80 games his first two seasons in Utah.
Normally, when he falls on the court, he has his teammates to brace himself with (or push out of the way).
really lets not laugh at the situation karma might come around and kick us square in the cohones
I think the real story is that he was playing a game of basketball with his older kid on one of those small goals and the kid was coming at him and of course Boozer could not actually contest the shot so he tried to get out of the way, but instead he tripped over his bag of looted gold.
Not true.....negative! Boozer has NEVER fallen down on a basketball court in his LIFE!!
What's this doing in the JAZZ section anyway? Boozer took his sorry *** to Chicago.
Mods please move to General NBA.![]()
