Carolina Panthers Player Wears Jazz Mountain Hat to Press Conference

Uhhh that's what it looks like. I live in downtown slc, can indeed confirm.

Take I15 to 600 N. I'm pretty sure that that overpass is where this picture was taken from. I used to live just off 600 N 300 w. It isn't exaggerated. There is 7k feet of vertical relief in that image.

If you are accustomed to the view from the southeast rather than from the northwest I could see why it would appear to be exaggerated.

I've lived here for a couple of decades. Clearly, the mountains in the picture are exaggerated from that vantage point. I assume the picture is taken with some extreme zoom telephoto lens, compressing the distance between downtown and the mountains. It looks like the buildings are jutting from the base of the mountains, as opposed as being several miles away, as they are in real life.

I dont live in either so I think I have the best context for this....

Visiting both cities it's way more apparent that "Holy **** there are mountains here, this isnt Texas anymore" when you are in SLC compared to Denver.

No question. You can see exactly zero mountains from Denver.

If you take a dump outside of Denver you can see it on the horizon all the way to palisade.

Utah hobos paranoid that the mountains will crush them settle in Denver.

Satan lives at ncj's place...
