Cars that you like

Looks like this is going to be the car for us.

Skoda Fabia RS Combi

Basically it is the same car as the VW Golf GTI, same powertrain and everything, but with more tech for less money (nav, park assist, lane assist radar, bluetooth, etc.). And it has some real get up and go, and plenty of room for the 4 of us, surprisingly (not room to stretch out, but we all fit without people being bent in half anyway). Now I am trying to decide between new and used. Found a 2010 with <40k km in pristine condition that we drove. Loved it. And about 1/3 the cost of new. Probably going to go that route.

Looks like the back has a lot more room than the gti as well. Looks like a good car. Is it the 1.8turbo gasoline engine?

How hard is it to learn how to ride motorcycles?

Learning the techniques of riding is easy. Learning how to read traffic and ride to maximize safety takes more time, IMO.

The best thing to do is start small. New riders that jump right to a big bike are generally a bad accident waiting to happen. Learning the basics is substantially easier on a lighter, less powerful bike.

Yep that's the one. It has some serious grunt to it. Not if course in the league as my corvette was but for a little family hauler is pretty fun to drive.

not hard.

i learned at early age. found a grass soccer field. and fell a few times but learned at age of 9.

but if i have to relive that now with a 30+ year old body. dont think my body would handle it that well

I think I'm going to buy a 2005 Saab 9-2x aero. For those who are not familiar with them, they paid subaru to put a Saab body on an Impreza wrx hatchback. So it's super fast. 2.0l intercooled turbo.

I had no idea about the link to Subaru.... very cool.

The Saab 900 SPG of yesteryear is one of my all time favourite cars.
