Cavs in contract talks with Fesenko

Good. Hopefully they take him off our hands. One less idiot on the team is a good thing. I think the Jazz are making it pretty clear, that with Tomic in the wings, Fesenko is not in our long-term plans.

Does it say who his agent is?

Scott Boras? Cleveland I believe still has over 5 million to spend, but they also apparently worked out cheap guys like Barron, Hunter, and Steinsma. No Z or Shaq so pretty weak at the center now.

This Tomic BS has got to stop.

I agree. The guy is being way overrated. If you look at most successful big man they have wide shoulders. That allows them to create space for themselves and allows them to pack on more pounds and not loose speed. Tomic has a very small frame and he will get pushed around very easily in the NBA. He is a PF in the NBA and a weak one. He is getting pushed around in the league he is playing in right now. NBA players are a lot more physical than what he is playing against.

Fesenko is very good at clogging the lane and we need a big body like his. Tomic isn't going to clog the lane or scare anyone from driving into the paint. Fesenko can. We would not of won the Denver series without him.

I'd rather have a pile of prehistoric dump.

So you really think we are set at the C position then? If not who do you think we should sign at this date in the game? A 7 footer who still has upside for hopefully 2 million or less might be the best we can get at this point.

This is all very silly. We wont find a replacement big man better then Fes this season. The Jazz just need to go ahead and make him a better offer. I love the the Jazz seam to have integrity as a organization but they may need to bend over and take one this time. If we let Fes go he will develop into a solid player on another team. We just dont give him the game time. So everytime he steps on the floor he feels like he needs to over produce to gain more playing time, ending up with fes running around in chaos.

That's being a bit generous.
