So he chases our HOF coach out of town and now he is pulling this? How fast can we trade this clown?

@KBerg_CBS reports tonight that Deron Williams has informed associates he looks to join Amar'e in New York in 2012.

Ben Bagley just tweeted it from Ken Berger of CBS sports. I realize it is a guy in NY, so credibility is not the best, but I thought I still needed to share.

Good for him. He said this last week that he doesn't like all the Media Attention, so NY will fit him nicely. If the 200 or so boos bugged him after he slaugtered Sloan wait till he gets to NY and then gets killed by Westbrook, Rose, Nash, Nash, and then Ellis. The fans in NY will just love his whinning at the refs and getting beat by every night.

A person with knowledge of the conversations told CBSSports.com on Saturday that Jazz point guard Deron Williams began informing close associates after last season that if Stoudemire wound up in New York, Williams would follow him there as a free agent in 2012. If the Knicks got Anthony with the three-year extension under current rules, it is not clear whether they'd have enough cap space to add a player such as Williams, Chris Paul or Dwight Howard when the trio become unrestricted free agents after next season.
Williams may very well leave after 2012, but this is nothing more than ********* reporting. Throw enough bologna at a wall and eventually some of it will stick.

Isn't this the Carmelo trade? Would NY do this and take Deron instead of Carmelo? I have a hard time seeing this trade happen. Unfortunately, after the Melo trade, NY won't have anything else left to give.

This whole thing just makes me sick. What a stupid bitch. Deron needs to read a book about accountability, not about how he's a victim. Bitch

Pertinent material from the article JCribb linked to:

So the first we hear of this is from a New York reporter 7 months AFTER the fact? Sounds very dubious to me.

Deron has lost all credibility as far as I am concerned there is truth somewhere in this. On a side note...my iPad kept wamting to change deron to demon. The signs are everywhere. Where's my jaegar?

There was also a tweet today about him asking melo if he would consider coming to utah and melos reply was would you. I just hope something happens with the lockout where it helps the small market teams like utah. The problem with these big markets and egos are getting worse to the point where a small market team would never have a chance. Utah is ranked dead last where players want to come and play. Kobe started it by saying he wasn't going to anywhere but la. These players are like kids and need to have there butts spanked by the owners . Meaning hit their wallets to where they focus on playing rather then their egos.

3 things to consider before we start creating a dozen new "Trade Deron" threads every day.
1.

So that was last offseason, before Deron played his tail off in November and December. I have a hard time getting too excited about comments Deron made 6-9 months ago.

2. Stoudemire will be 30 during the 2012-13 season - theoretically Deron's first season in NY - but Amare will surpass the 20,000 career minute plateau this season. By the time Deron gets there, Amare will still be a good player, but he will be on the downside of his career.

3. The new CBA. Not only do I doubt that NY will be able to the afford max-contracts of Amare, Melo and Deron - Jazz fans can also hope for the equivalent of the NFL's "franchise-tag," and you can bet after the 3-ring circus free-agency has become that the tag will be something the owners and Stern push for. Stern was proud of the inception of the "Bird Rule," and he doesn't want the opposite of its intended purpose to become a reality of his league before he retires.

Exactly, I'll believe it when I see it. He's had plenty of chances to say trade me this year and never once have those words left his mouth.

If I was deron I would request a trade as soon as i got back to utah cause he's not gonna want to face these utah fans for the next 2 years.

As pissed as I am about deron lately, Is just sounds like crap. The media will make up anything to get a reaction these days.
