It feels nice that a home team of mine is able to beat an upper class NBA team. Still a long way ahead for the FIBA though.

Here are some highlights:

This is crazy.

When did our teams start playing foreign teams?

Thats not a good look either, to be losing to them.

I saw 3 players on that team that were on the Turkish National team I watched last summer. Isn't that the premier team in Turkey?

happened numerous times already... not a surprise of any kind. Basketball outside of NBA is way better then you guys imagine.

One of the few times that I agree with you. Most of us get to see so little of the leagues out side of the NBA that it is hard to make any judgement of how good some of these teams are. I well say that in most cases the talent level is not the same as it is in the NBA, but they play a better brand of team basketball. A lot of the games I saw in the Olympics this year were very fun to watch due to the high quality of team work and trust that these teams that have played together for years have.

Nope. It sucks. Way bad.

And how many Euroleague games you saw last year to make your judgement call?
Seriously, I am not arguing that European basketball is as good as NBA, NBA still top league in the world and thats not a question here. But Euroleague is second best league in the world and difference is not as big anymore.
Celtics obviously did not get the memo.

Clear NBA side dominance. But the NBA is starting to drop some games. Such as the Celtics last night, Lakers against FC Barcelona in 2010 and the Cavs against CSKA Moscow in 2010 as well.

To me that shows the NBA is still cearly dominate but that European teams have shown drastic improvement. I think they will continue to do so.

Bo McCalebb did well according to the box score. Was he torching Rondo? That guy clearly looked like a NBA player when somebody posted that topic on him with the Youtube highlights in the Jazz forum awhile back. I don't get why he's not playing over here. He did have quite a few TOs though. Is he a TO machine?

He gets paid 4 million plus paid for car and benefits according to announcers. He looks good. Definitely a Monta Ellis type PG who can really penetrate and dish off penetration. Probably could be a backup in the NBA, maybe a starter.
