He's not a consensus top-4 player...at least if the "consensus" includes Dennis Lindsey, or some of the others who now say Vonleh is sneaking into that top group. DL said in an interview there is a top-3. Pretty sure he meant Embiid, Parker and Wiggins in that group; I don't see how else it could be interpreted. And if Exum can't play PG, I wouldn't be excited over having him be the pick. Jazz will likely re-sign Hayward and already have another helluva good SG in Burks, so the 2 is covered. If the margin between players is very small, which I think it is with Vonleh, Exum and Gordon, then you have to consider need. Gordon at SF is the best from a pure need standpoint. Vonleh fits because the Favors and Gobert can play the 5, leaving Vonleh to develop behind Enes at PF.
This is exactly what someone should say if they are worried their guy will be gone. "I SURE hope one of you guys don't take VONLEH. I think he is super swell. If we luck out and VONLEH is available we are taking him. So please don't pick him before us. "
