He's had the Jazz doing the exact same picks in every mock, hasn't he? He must be pretty confident in them...

I'm not saying he's going to be right. He just seems to think he has a beat on what the Jazz are thinking. Yes, the Jazz are about as quiet as any team in the league. And that's a good thing.
 
the Warriors took a tall defender (Udoh) last year. would they really make the same pick again (Biyombo)?

They always take tall defenders: Udoh, Randolph, O'Bryant, Diogu, Biedrens

Maybe Jerry West will change that?
 
Why would it be a let down? Obviously most on here have been way to high on Kanter. I would love this draft if it played out this way.

First pick: Trading down to get Knight at 5 or 6 if you really must have Knight. Or maybe trade down and pick up Jonas V at 5 or 6. Or, if you stay at three, pick Williams or Kanter.

Second pick: At 12 pick (roughly in my order of preference) Burks, Bismack, Jimmer, maybe Montiejunas, maybe Marcus Morris, maybe Tristan Thompson. I think I'd take all of those guys before Singleton.

For me, Knight at 3 and Singleton at 12 is pretty much a worst case scenario draft.
 
I love both those guys. I cant imagine what has you so down on those picks. Knight is a stud, singleton is a lockdown defender with range. had he not been injured this season he is a top 10 pick this year.
 
Everything I'm reading says Toronto loves Knight. They pick at 5. If the Jazz want Knight, they have to take him at three. Simple as that. There will be no trading down unless they want someone else. I highly doubt a deal materializes with Cleveland to trade #4 for #3 either.

I am back and forth on Knight. I could talk myself into liking him but I keep seeing a young guy who isn't going to be ready to start for years.

I like Marson Brooks a lot but he would be stretch at 12. So trading down could be a really good idea.


As of today I would love to trade down to 6 and 18 with the 3rd pick. Draft Biyombo 6, Jimmer at 12 and Brooks at 18.

Not a terrible idea, but I believe in Enes, so I'd stick. Who would I rather have between Knight or Biyombo and Brooks? Tough call, but I would probably go Knight there as well. As much as I think Knight isn't quite worthy of a 3 pick, I'm just not sure what else makes more sense (assuming you don't want Kanter).
