Chad Ford: the Jazz consider Dante Exum their franchise player

This seems suspicious. Words, maybe. After that, you lose me.

It's something called a sense of humor. It's something that can't be taught, To achieve it you must one day leave the comfort of your mothers basement and witness personalities, conversation and sarcasm on your own. Don't worry your star wars action figures aren't going anywhere.

Parents basement? Star Wars action figures? Where do you come up with this stuff?

I enjoy your contributions here very much, and I think a sticky of highlight gifs would be a great idea. Very nice for people who can't watch games or just don't have the stomach to watch the carnage. You should start a thread of Gif highlights and I'd imagine the mods could be talked into a sticky. If for some reason it was denied, I would gladly make a point of bumping it on a regular basis. Keep 'em comin'.

This like a mutha ****er

I can't say that I've seen Stockton in him yet. But I will never forget how one of the slowest guys on the court (Stockton) could draw a defense in with the game on the line and either pass to an open man, or make room to shoot it over a more athletic player. Still blows my mind to this day.

Uuuummmm, Stockton was NOT slow. He was a freak athlete, and was always a threat to drive, shoot, or make the perfect pass to Karl Malone who needed a triple team at times to be stopped. Russell and Horney, however. . .

Stockton never getting injured does not make him a freak athlete.

He had a knee surgery, but that might have been more of a wear and tear surgery than injury surgery.

How about his combination of endless motor and resiliency? Pretty freakish athlete in his own way.

I'm not sure I ever saw him take a play off. Like, EVER.

If Exum is going to be our franchise player..... We will be a mediocre franchise for years and years to come.

Agreed. I don't know that he was a freak athlete, but his was super athletic. 35 BPM heartrate, and could recover aerobically very fast. He was definitely underrated as an athlete. I remember the time he threw David Robinson on the ground. LOL.

I also think some people are remembering Stockton when he was 35 as well. Most pg's aren't even in the league by that age no matter how good they are. Stockton in his 20's was strong, fast, quick, and skilled. Also remember that you could get killed driving the hoop consistently as a small in the 90's NBA.
