Chael Sonnen is gonna make silva his little female dog

Only fights on this card that interest me are Mir and Tito. I used to hate Tito, couldn't stand the guy. I'm not sure what changed my mine, probably watching him suck so bad for a while. I can't help but respect the guy for sticking with it, changing his outlook, and giving it another go. I would like to see him win, I'm just not sure if he has it in him anymore. It's pretty much the opposite with Mir. I really used to enjoy watching him fight, not so much anymore. Minotauro seems like such a cool guy, very nice, and a great fighter. Gonna go with Nogueira on this one.

Take your pick. Witnessed an 8-second knockout (tied for shortest I think). The Jones/Machida fight was insane but a standing guillotine at the end and the angle of Machida's neck was crazy.

But obviously the biggest wow moment was Mir breaking Nog's arm and how that whole 10-20 seconds went down.

The downer now is rumors of Overeem having drug issues or something. That fight is in jeopardy. :(

machida matches up well vs jones. a different day a machida might have won.

If I were a gay man, I am positive I would stalk Frank Mir and demand the pleasure of a few BJJ sessions. That dude is AN ANIMAL. To be the first to knock out Big Nog, first to submit Big Nog -- both in dramatic fashion, and the latter is likely a career ender for Minotauro, is beyond boo ya. PLEASE tell me that OverTool is hurt or, even better, tested positive for drugs... Please. Mir will eat Brock Lesner for lunch, crap him out the next morning, and then start training for his victory over JDS.

I was talking to my friend right after it happened and stated that this was the fight of the year, and easily the best submission victory in UFC history. Dana White later called it, "The submission of the century." Close enough.

Gods, what a great weekend it was.

No way fight of the year. Nog had him under control then went for the submission and missed and Mir made him pay. Credit to Mir but if Nog is a little smarter there it doesn't happen. But could say the same for a lot of Mir's fights. He makes opponents pay for mistakes especially with leaving a limb behind.

I dunno, lots of good fights. My guys didn't win, but I don't care, still a great night of fights.

Fair enough, I guess, but what would you consider FOTY? At the very worst, the Mir fight is ahead of Kongo Vs. Barry for Best Comeback of All Time.

Sonnen now saying he wants nothing to do with Silva and is instead gunning for GSP, Jones, or Dos Santos.

Stoked for Friday. Kinda wish it was on Saturday though.

i'm jsut thinking he is peaking interest. you can say what you want but chael's antic is making him most watched in a way.

No question there. I think he wants Silva and tried the I want Silva routine. No bites so now he's trying the I don't want Silva routine.

Sonnen will be out of the picture very soon. Munoz is going to *** RAPE him. 1st round TKO, book it.
