What's new

Charlotte Hornets @ Utah Jazz -- Feb 9, 7pm MST

I loved Donovan tonight honestly. He missed shot but they were good shots. He’s got a great stroke and should be looking to shoot hinself out of his mini slump.

Great passes and he played within the offense tonight. I have no complaints. Those shots will fall some nights and won’t others.

Good win...

Ingles is playing above and beyond his contract at the moment. On a great stretch of games of late.

DM had 25, but his efficiency is really bad at the moment. Apart from the Phoenix game his past 10 games have been pretty ordinary. We don’t want him turning into a chucker.

25 pts on 21 shots isnt really bad. its very close to the league average in pps. someone's gotta shoot on this team, he'll be fine

Jazz need to replace the production of Hood and Joe Jesus. Having Spida shoot more is a good start. Getting Rudy back up to his production from late last year would be another way.

Despite the nice/spectacular dunks the no looker pass was one of my favorite plays from Spyda yet. Can't find the highlight oddly enough.

Mitchell played really well. He's struggling on off the bounce threes, but very few players, especially rookie players, shoot those well. If he gets an off the bounce three shot down, then it's GG everyone. I want him to keep shooting. DONT EVER STOP SHOOTING MITCH.

People need to remember this guy isn't CJ Miles--he deserves to take all those shots he took. He could be an elite, hall of fame player. He could be the best jazz man since those guys they made statues out of. Anything could happen, but Mitchell's development should always be the primary goal. Playoffs are just a bonus. Also he played really well tonight. The Jazz went in to the fourth without Rubio and without Crowder--the first game without major rotation players, Hood and Johnson. You will have to give this team and especially the bench a chance to adjust to new rotations. And Mitchell made plays. He and Ingles and Gobert just turned it on and we closed the game out. Very strong and encouraging game.

I want to make the playoffs real bad because if we do, it means that Mitch led us there and I think it would be hard to deny him the ROY if that happens. Especially if Philly falls out, which I think they will. Philly missing the playoffs and Mitchell taking the Jazz there, shocking the league, is the only scenario I see him getting ROY since so many at least media people made up their mind in the first week of the season.

Also, whoever makes the next gamethread don't **** up. Portland is going to be a really tough game. BUT THE STREAK MUST SURVIVE. CHOOO CHOOOO

Fun game. Neto and Burks were crap but everybody else played pretty well. Neto had his first bad game for a while. I don't expect Burks to play once Crowder is cleared.

Was it just me or did it look like Charlotte plays legit perimeter defense? They seemed to close out on our shooters pretty quickly. I hope it is their personnel and not an easy gameplan tweak that everyone can utilize. I guess if they do, Favors will feast.

I am fairly certain nobody has gameplanned for a jumpshooting Rudy Gobert, however. . .

Yes it is bad...

No doubt DM needs to take shots in this offense, probably around 15-20 per game. Just saying his efficiency is really low at the moment.

Take out the Phoenix game and he’s shooting 38% over the past 10.

Lol........ take out his best game and he’s shooting 38% over the last ten games. Take away all his made shots and he’s shooting 0%.

23 points a career high for Joe Ingles shows how shy he's been shooting the ball. He's so good putting the ball in the basket, no reason for him not to take 15 shots per game. That agressiveness opens up passing lanes too.

He drove them crazy in slow motion.
