I heard this segment on my way home and it just reinforced that notion that Spence Checketts and that fat *** Scotty G are nothing more than Jack Johnson listening, Port-o-Call missing, date raping, frat boy fluffing, douche bags.

Seriously, Spence Checketts is the definition of your typical rich, highschool prep, *******.

Yeah, I heard the segment too, and was a bit surprised that they said what they did.

Take into consideration that their whole goal might have been to ruffle a few feathers to get a reaction from people during a somewhat slow sports period in Utah. Does that make it right? No, but that's freedom of speech for you.

All this proves is that neither of these two put a television in the Kitchen.
 
They don't matter. If your fan base is 90% men, that is who your are going to target. Marketing is too expensive to worry about that fringe 10%, especially when that fringe 10% ALREADY likes you and you have done nothing to woo them.

This is what's wrong with this country. We need to get back to catering for the majority and not the vocal minority.

If we can win a title, I don't care if we're marketing to sea turtles. This is about winning. If you don't care about winning, nobody should be marketing to you. Period. Get off the wagon.
 
Scotty G is the same fat bald douche that blasts women's sports every chance he gets... as if he's ever got off his fat bald *** and done anything in his life. The guy is a creep-o and Spence is just a straight up rich douche. Nothing they say is worth listening to, especially "Scotty." What kind of name is Scotty for a grown man anyway? Guarantee he was bullied just like that lady on that bus.
 
I agree. 10% is probably even pushing it. Most chicks I see at Jazz games are there with their bf/husband and are a)texting or playing with their phone b)looking completely bored c)in line for ice cream.

Why is it bad to say women's sports suck? They do! Except the ones where the women are nice to look at. Kill me with just about every women's sport except maybe tennis or volleyball and they are only tolerable if the women are attractive.
 
I took my wife to the toronto game this past year. Amazing game to be at and we had very good seats (row 13 lower bowl). The game goes into overtime and she is upset cause she wanted to leave. Then it goes into double overtime and right at the beginning of the 2nd overtime she leaves to go wait for me in the concessions stand area because the crowd was being too loud.
Spence may or may not be a douchebag but saying that female fans dont matter probably isn't too far off. I dont think that the jazz are too concerned about marketing the jazz to women.

Can you blame Scotty? If you are channel surfing and you end up on a WNBA game you better hope there is a gun next to you. Personally, I'd shoot myself before the television.
