Chicago Draft Combine 2011

WHAT? I like Faried, but how does a guy that can't shoot AT ALL or have anything resembling a passing, finesse, or really showing any skill on offense at all supposed to help a guy that demands space to do anything and crumbles when facing double-teams???

Yeah agree. Millsap's strength is his ability to play out on the floor or high post, hit jumpers and slash a bit.

Is Derrick Williams doing any drills? It wouldn't be a bad idea for him to show he can move as well as some of the SFs.

kanter does not want to play for utah while derrick wants to play small forward hmmmmmm . Pretty much says Kanter wants to play for the wolves while derrick doesn't not want to play for the wolves. It's about getting their minutes.

Faried is someone I would take to replace Sap. He projects to be a better rebounder, and defender.
Love sap the man, and player, but let's be honest we can upgrade.

Faried @ 12 anyone?

I don't like it.
When Sap schools someone that person got Sapped.
When Faried schools someone that person just got Faried?

No, it doesn't work.

You're right. I don't get it. As Klay Thompson just pointed out with regards to players skipping the workout, "what do you have to be afraid of? It's just basketball."

Since you're so enlightened, please explain to us what they have to gain and the odds of them gaining that.

When did he say he does not want to play for Utah?

TheHoopsReport: Enes Kanter on what team he prefers to go to: "I like Minnesota, Washington and Cleveland. pretty much says it there

Not the same as saying he does not want to play for Utah. Two of these teams pick before us. The other was due to pick before us.

People are just being sensitive because when asked who he wants to play for he didn't mention Utah. He said Washington, Minny, and Cleveland - which tells me he doesn't care where he plays he just picked the first crappy teams that came to mind. The Jazz aren't a crappy team. It's nothing to get all worked up about but I think some people think it's fun.

Considering he definitely knows who's drafting where, that was very likely a deliberate omission. Chalk it up to what you want, but that is not a GOOD thing. It's very reasonable to call that a bad thing actually.

He didn't say utah in there did he? He knows jazz have a lot of big guys in there. If the jazz maybe had a need for a center he might have said utah. It is all about having his minutes.

Nope. Can you point out where he said he doesn't want to play for Utah?

Yep my thoughts as well. It happens every year in the draft where players say things to go to places. I hear it every year when players come in they give hints of teams they would like to play for.
