I don't want to name drop here, but the city 'fathers' are blocking Victoria's Secret and CFA .. that's ******* up right there.
Time to make replacements in my opinion.

The Mayors are the only wrong ones in this scenario--trying to zone out chik fil a resturants because the owner is a doucebag is wrong, and cheap.
But let's not pretend this Chik Fil A Day is about free speech. It's Fox News galvanizing its viewers to climb onto their medicare scooters and drive on down for a good old anti-gay rally, and some not-bad chicken sandwiches.
The food ain't bad, can't argue with that. I'll still eat there from time to time--so the owner is old, who cares? My grandparents hold the same views and I still love them. Gay people can take comfort that these guys have already lost the battle over gay marriage, public opinion has turned. In 5 years gay marriage will be legal in most the country, a few holdout states, sure--this one included.
What do you think of it?
Good? Bad? Is it about civil rights? Freedom of Speach? Government overreach?
Go...
Don't care if a bunch of people want to support them, think those who want to ban gay marriage are bigots, think government should be out of the marriage business in general, think the CEO of Chick Fil A is a jackwagon, think Chick Fil A makes the best damn chicken sandwich ever, think the mayor of Boston is a jackwagon but a more dangerous one if he lets speech influence who he gives permits to, and had no desire to go to Chick Fil A yesterday but may go this weekend.
That's about it.

Ok, maybe bigot is too harsh a term.
But I'm not sure what to call it when someone else wants to deny civil rights to another group of people based on their sexual orientation.
People showed up at Chick-Fil-A because they are tired of d-bags like this:

Hating gays had little to nothing to do with it.
Wow that guy is a total **** head. I understand his points about the corporation but how he attacked that employee about working there is ridiculous.
Its not about what you believe sometimes, sometimes its about getting a pay-check and being able to survive.

Oh really? Did you speak to every single person that showed up in support? Give me a ****ing break.
That guy is a Grade A douchebag, that much is clear. But I highly doubt people are showing up to support Chick-Fil-A because a couple of people are acting like ****heads on the internet.
