While I was standing in line waiting to get in to see Thor ( good movie btw) I was texting a friend and I gave him this scenario. Al Jefferson for Chris bosh. The will probably want millsap but come to terms in the middle maybe bell and future consideration or something.

Bosh would be an awesome front court partner to favors. He doesn't hang out with James and wade. He is a cowboy and would fit in in the culture in Utah.

Miami pretty much replaces his production with a younger player. Some one that can play center and then they can move haslem back to power forward. It would, in my opinion, make them a better team.

I would rather have boozer back then that @... I for one am happy with the way our front lineup is set up for the future. Jefferson and favors are going to be beast next season on the team. Fes, Memo, Tomic and Sap will bring a lot of depth on the team as well. Not sure how Memo is going to be but the jazz could have one if not the best big line ups in the nba.
Bench line up next year

Sap
Memo
Tomic
Fes
Ak
2 draft picks
Earl Watson
free agent.
Evans
A lot of those players could be starters but now you got good bench players

As long as we get better wing players on this team and can shoot this team will be alright. Cj and raja just isn't going to do it. Favors and Gordon is going to help this team out a lot next year. I wouldn't mind seeing the jazz draft someone like Brandon Knight or Walker and put Harris at the two. That way you got that ball moving around and have good shooters on the team. Jazz are going to be a lot better next year and have a lot of options. Why waist money and loose good players for a skinny Bosh that Heat fans already want to get rid of him. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bosh end up in la next year. Bosh does not like utah btw as well. He made fun of Dwill for playing in utah. I was being sarcastic about Boozer wanting him back. I wouldn't want either player being neither one is worth the money they are making.

It's a no fore me too.

Bosh really isn't an upgrade to what we have now, and he makes more money than Al.

In my opinion. The only trades the jazz should be looking at are for young up and coming wings and roll players to strengthen are bench. I think we are set upfront.

Bosh will make 16 mil next year and Jefferson will make 14

You didn't mention the years remaining and total dollars owed.

I'll save you the work.

Jefferson is owed $29M over two years.
Bosh is guaranteed $52.635M over three years, and has two years of options for $42,702,500 that there's no way he'll turn down, giving a grand total of $95.3375M over 5 years.

$29M for two years, or...
$95M over five years.

Pretty easy decision for me.

Not just from the money standpoint. I actually think Jefferson is a better player than Chris Bosh. Bosh is a 6'10" shooting guard with no post moves. I seriously didn't understand all the hypes in the offseason.

Miami will be NBA champs for many years to come if the deal is done.
