Ever since I can remember Christmas music customarily started on the radio the weekend after Thanksgiving.
With the emergence of Black Friday (and now Black Thursday) I've noticed radio stations are moving to the Christmas music format about a week earlier.
Kind of puts things in perspective.

well since i'm a jew and dont celebrate xmas. if there is a xmas song i like i just play it all year long. dont matter if its holiday season. my neighbours look weird at me. cus they dont know the half of it

The only acceptable Christmas music to listen to is Vince Guaraldi's Charlie Brown Christmas album. It's brilliant.
Harry Connick Jr.'s Christmas album is not bad.
