Former Jazz players doing well all over the league ATM ... Miles, Millsap, Carroll, Mo, Al Jeff, Korver... the list seems to go on and on...
Sometimes I wonder why we went through this rebuild, I think the root of the problem was the coaching. I think I'd be ok with this lineup right now
Deron Williams
Wesley Matthews/Cj Miles
Gordon Hayward
Paul Millsap
Al Jefferson
I'm trying to keep my faith up but things just seem grim right now.
So you would be good being 7-8 seed every year and never being a contender? Not me that **** gets old fast.Sometimes I wonder why we went through this rebuild, I think the root of the problem was the coaching. I think I'd be ok with this lineup right now

Yes, I'm over exaggerating a bit. I've been a season ticket holder for multiple years so I've been watching this team as closely as anyone else here. I just wish there was one person on the damn team that was a tier above the others, somebody who could be the face of the franchise, I thought Exum could be that but who knows now. When you pay your hard earned money to see games and watch them lose like they did last night it's hard not to wonder if there's a different way of doing things. I'll always be rooting for this team, no matter what happens.

Yeah I feel for ya.. I was thinking this same thing and even mentioned it in the game thread. I really felt bad for people who paid their hard earned cash, turned up to the game, and witnessed that lacklustre effort last night. It was pretty bad...
I think it starts with a team leader. Favors and Hayward are just too quiet. Exum doesnt have that fire in him at all. Hood? No way.
We have a nice team full of nice players. Rudy and Booker are the only intense guys on the team.
One play that stood out for me was right at the end of the half, we just scored on OKC, then they inbounded to Westbrook, he sprinted down the floor, passed it Kanter for an easy lay-up, it took all of 4 seconds in total. We just can't let that happen to us. Only the Sixers should allow something like that happen. At least with Exum he may have been able to contain Westbrook with his quickness and length somewhat.
I've been preaching this since his injury. He was more important to our defense last year than people realized. Nobody seems to remember our defense improved a lot once Burke got benched for Exum. They don't remember that because not long after Kanter was traded and Rudy entered the lineup and the defense took another huge step. Gobert gets far too much credit for that and Exum not nearly enough.I didn't realize how much of a hole Exum left us defensively this year.... It's a PG league now, look at Westbrook, Curry, Lillard, etc... you need to contain these guys, and Neto & Burke just aren't going to cut it.

His injury was really unfortunate for the development of this group..
