I think tha pick could be good or it couldnt ... tha guy can def play I watched him in tha tourney but if we sign wes and kyle back we are now overloaded wit tha wings again ..maybe it eans someone doesnt come back or gets traded idk but I def like his game tho or atleast what i saw from him in tha tourney but its understandable too to pic tho because myself and AK are the only wings under contract at tha moment I def thought we were gonna draft a big tho i thought after tha picks that were made that we would pick cole or ed davis but i get paid to play and not make draft picks lol so shoutout to my new teammate Gordon Hayward!!1

so even CJ is surprised with the pick

Well, Kyle prolly ain't cumming back n AK will b traded or not resigned. Chucker can b tha backup to Wes and Hayward.

Apparently not all of our players have to be intelligent.

I think that Hayward has some work to do before he goes ahead of Miles in the rotation. Miles has been an an ill-advised shooter and a weak defender in the past, but he has improved in both of those skills (although not to where it would be good for the Jazz to have him). CJ has more meat on his bones and more NBA experience.

On the bright side, Hayward measured conservatively at 6'8" 211--better than the 190 or 200 that I had previously thought. Hayward trained a lot as a guard because his parents didn't think that he would have the height for the forward position, so he might turn out to be a good dribbler--maybe even a point forward (see ESPN link below).

And he is a God-fearing forward. As we all know, God is a Jazz fan. A hands-off Jazz fan, but a Jazz fan all the same :|.

This is why you really do a disservice to athletes when you don't push them as hard as other students. Sadly, we all know this happens quite a bit. It's hard to tell if these athletes realize this or not.

Regardless, you'd think that a competitive person wouldn't settle for this and instead challenge himself to get better at the English language. It'd be interesting to note which players are the most competitive who also struggle with English compared to those who are not as competitive, struggle with English, and had a similar education. Sounds like an interesting sociology experiment. :D

This pick really ties the room together.

No seriously though, it really does help in two areas we've had deficiencies. Defense and perimeter shooting. LOL.

Who knew CJ Miles was so fluent in other languages?

leo te feliciito por el puesto q te dieron hoy en portadas te lo tienes bien gando

Or translated into Godmerican:

I congratulate you, Gordon Hayward. You cover well. I call you Gando.

Hayward will be the next coming of Dirk, book it! It's just gonna take about 3 or 4 years for that maturation to happen but when it does, you heard it here first!

Its clear what the Jazz plan is. They wont resign Korver, give Hayward Korver's minutes. They will slide AK to Millsap's minutes. Not sure what the center plan is, I guess they are banking on a healthy Memo coming back, or banking on Kosta or Fess magically becoming NBA players. Our rotation should look like this (pending trades)

Dwill- Price- Gaines
Matthews-Miles-Hayward
Miles-AK-Hayward
Sap-AK - Whoever that 2nd round pick was
Okur-Fess-Kosta

CJ's post proves what I thought all along...he should have gone to college.

Jazz are F*#@%'d

Its a tweet, they arent suppose to be grammatically correct, his is actually much more understandable than most tweets I've seen.

That will probably be the lineup next year. 45-50 wins. We will be surpassed by a healthy Portland, Oklahoma City, and Houston (Yao). Phoenix or SA may decline worse than us.

Agree. The real hope is that Hayward develops into a 25-30 min/per player by the trade deadline. Then you can trade AK for a 4/5 - either a starter or great 6th-man, or maybe take a bad contract in return for a lottery pick. I know it's a completely different situation, as there won't be the volume of stars out there for the 2011 FA class, but some team should be willing to give up some pretty good assets in return for $17M in cap savings.

Of course, Greg may want to just pocket that savings. In fact, I think that's exactly what will happen. Miller will force KOC to utter the standard, "we explored all options, but we just didn't see anything that made the team better" or, "we didn't have the right assets to make a deal" - which should actually be translated as "we're a bunch of cheap asses and ain't spending the money to get a deal done."

Seems to have been prophetic regarding CJ.
