CJ Miles?

Hey, according to Bleacher Report, as of today C.J. is one of the three best free agents still available.

(I voted for Landry)

We should just sign him because.....The Warriors will pick him up middle of the season when they decide to throw in the towel and it's time to tank.

Miles has spent his entire college career with the Utah Jazz after being darfted by the team in the second round back in 2005. The team wisely decided not to re-sign him, however, and a market for his services has not existed since the signing period opened.

It's not hard to see why when you consider the lack of talent he has available. Miles is a versatile player capable of playing poorly at small forward or shooting guard. He can miss inside and outside shots and has barely improved his defense from matador to revolving door since entering the NBA.

Miles has averaged at least nine points in each of the past four seasons despite an ever-decreasing shooting percentage. He would seem like an ideal fit for a lottery-bound team looking for a veteran presence to sit at the end of the bench unless they're in danger of winning a game. A good situation should arise if he remains patient, as there are still some dumb GMs out there.

What the hells wrong with Darko as 3rd string?

Even Miami are looking at Darko....

Darko couldn't even get playing time last year in Minnesota when Pekovic was injured because Rick Adelman thought he was out of shape and not ready to play.

Plus Miami isn't THAT interested in Darko. Camby passed on them. They can only offer anyone the league minimum. Darko may only take the league minimum because he got amnestied and will get paid the full value of his contract with the Wolves. There's no reason the Jazz should go after Darko until after Millsap or Jefferson is traded, if that even happens.

I've been saying bring back Big Fes for awhile now anyway.

Not saying Darko should be looked at that hard..... but on the extreme cheap, could be an option for a bench warming big.

This is the latest on Miles. I wish he would sign with someone in our division but I won't complain as long as he's somewhere else.

(Alonzo) Gee, a restricted free agent, is waiting for the Cavs to make an offer. If they don't, Gee could sign the qualifying offer and become an unrestricted free agent next summer.
If the two sides don't reach an agreement, the Cavs could sign unrestricted free agent C.J. Miles, who made an official visit to the team last week. There's a slight chance the Cavs would sign both Gee and Miles.

Wow, who wrote up that profile on Bleacher Report? His agent???

Whoever did either never watched him play other than a highlight reel or has a monetary interest in him getting signed somewhere.

C.J. is absolutely infuriating. I don't understand how someone with his talent and skill set can be so bad. I hoped year after year that he would put it together, but I think it's just not going to happen for him. At least it looks like the Jazz have no interest in re-signing him so at least I don't have to watch it any more.
