Clinton with a decent lead over Trump in new poll

I think if Hillary is elected we see federal decriminalization

I doubt that happens until there is a democratic congress and at least a middle of the road repub president. Conservatives will still chew up and spit out anyone pushing legalization. For one thing, the prison industrial complex...

Like I've said before, as trendy as such statements are, they are complete nonsense. Clinton will be more or less the same as every president since Reagan. Just another establishment president, in what has been a very successful country. It is not the ideal choice, but is an acceptable choice.

That is untill she gut rest of Us and A of jobs with TPP agreements? Did deep. Information is everywhere and about shadow agendas.

For the Hillary haters, I wonder how many can actually talk in an informed way about the specific policy positions she advocates to which they object, which makes her such an unpalatable candidate.

Or, is their objection to her based largely on objections to things such as private email server, Clinton Foundation (as if most other elected or former public officials don't also sell influence), irrational hatred, which has existed since back to Clinton Presidency, or personality issues unrelated to her capacity to governm (e.g., not dynamic, bitchy, etc.)? (None of which, IMHO, makes her an unacceptable candidate--and I'd say that for any Republican candidate as well). My guess is that the average Clinton hater relies much more heavily on the latter rather than the former.

As noted, she is establishment through and through, as have been nearly all other serious Presidential candidates and winners and will likely govern as such, although probably with a bit of a progressive bent in terms of social policies, reasonably muscular foreign policy, but, like Obama and those before him, with her lips surgically implanted on Wall Street's ***.

lol

Considering policy alone it's arguable that Bush was left of Obama.

Example: Bush pushed for the largest expansion of medicare in its history. Government funded healthcare and he drastically cut out of pocket expenses. Obama passed a government mandate that forces even the working poor to buy insurance from a private for profit company or else face a stiff tax penalty. "Liberals" praise the latter action as progressive(lol)and condemn the former action as evidence that Bush wasn't conservative enough. Further which president cut medicaid? Oh yeah that was Bill. It's insane cheerleading. You don't care about policy. You just care about your team.

Kind of boring having a two team league, tbpfhwy.

Eh. There was a time I kind of, almost, liked babe. Before I realized he's one of the most unreasonable people you'll meet. Regardless of what you say, he'll make a caricature of you in his head, and proceed to respond to that caricature with the same senile wall-of-text every time. It's like talking to a chat bot designed by a lunatic.

ha ha.

the worst thing about you is you take yourself seriously.

Some people don't believe the polls.

part of the "rigged system" where corporate media churns out sheer propaganda with such massive inundations of the airwaves and cables it sorta creates it's own path. . . pseudoreality.

the bots are the humans who let it rule their lives.

Indifferent news.

Also a growing lead in NH, PA, MI and CO. Not only is the national lead growing but the pathway for him to win is narrowing significantly.

Are you describing Medicare part D? Don't you think progressives aren't too crazy about it is because it's a huge handout to Big Pharm because now the government cannot negotiate the price of drugs for Medicare recipients? Which has led to Medicare becoming more expensive while recipients haven't benefitted from increased access to affordable medication. Right?

And I think the ACA is hailed as being progressive because the alt was so over the top bad. All I heard from the right was "trade across state lines" and "tort reform." So while the ACA has benefited many in the insurance industry, it also has given 15+ million Americans access to health care. And the alt offered by the GOP, was useless.

Thr mere fact that we are having this discussion shows how silly the caricature of Obama is that th right has created. I remember Bill OReilly several times has described Obama as the most liberal president in our history.

Giggle...

You also have to consider which party had control of the House and/or Senate (or both) during their terms. Both Bush II and Obama served with a split Congress or a Congress controlled by the opposing party for significant portions of their terms.

Are you one of those or just letting us know that someone in the world might have this conspiracy theory?

The former Acting Director and Deputy Director of CIA Michael Morell gave his endorsement of Clinton. I think he gave some interesting tidbits about her in his opinion article about the election.

https://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/05/...-region&WT.nav=opinion-c-col-left-region&_r=0

One of the things I really like about Clinton is her ability to work across party lines to accomplish what she feels is right or better for our country. I also really like the she has the ability to take advice from experts that give solid reasons and change her mind on a subject. That shows a good sign of critical thinking and intelligence. I dislike people who refuse to change their minds about something. He talked about Clintons feelings towards some of the defense issues, some of which I liked some I was unsure about but good all around read into a little insight on her from someone who ran the CIA for awhile.

I really hope the lead just builds and builds and kills the Republican party. Hillary will be a fine president. She is no bill, or even Obama, but she is far better than Trump.

My hope for this election is that the libertarians get federal matching funds next time as well as get in the debates this time, and that the Republican party emerges as something that isn't a puke fest in four years.

Also, who thinks mark Cuban could win as a Republican in 8 years?

I do.

What are you talking about? My dad has medicare part D. He pays like 5 bucks to fill a prescription. Super funny that you sound like a conservative when talking about Bush.

There is no doubt in my mind that if Obama had passed medicare part D, you would be singing its praises. Likewise if Bush had passed ACA you would only see the corporate handouts. Funny that once again Bill gets off the hook and his medicare cuts aren't even mentioned. It's almost as hilarious as listening to a republican complain about how the democrats ****ed up the middle east.

There is no left. The Clintons just neutered the **** out of it... again. Get your pom poms out, woooo
