Clippers offering Bledsoe, Butler to Celtics for Garnett

Alright, then why not play Bledsoe while Rondo is out - don't know his time frame for coming back anyway - by that time Bledsoe's stock should rise far enough that you can trade him for a better asset. Or if he turns out to be a stud, then trade Rondo when he comes back. Should be able to get a couple of decent players on rookie contract for Rondo AT LEAST.

He is still one of the better PF's in the league come playoff time. If a contender gets him, he would be a huge boost for any team. I think if the Clippers got him, they would be favorites in the West.
 
If Clippers trade Bledsoe, would Crawford play back-up pg until the corpse of Chauncy Billups can be rolled out onto the floor? Would the Clippers be interested in re-acquiring Foye to play back-up to Crawford?

Celtics won 4 straight since Rondo's been out - coincidence?

Without shooters around him (Allen) can Rondo be as effective?

Not so sure reloading around Rondo is there MO going forward.

I'd be happy giving up any combo of Al, Paul, Burks, 1st. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't mind trading the better of the first rounders, burks, and Al or Paul for Bledsoe. At that point, I think the Celtics actually get quite a nice return to rebuild but still compete for a playoff spot this season since that seems to probably be the intention.

They'd have Al's Bird Rights and the ability to extend. Or extend-and-trade.
 
I love KG for a contender.. But his personal production is declining fairly quickly.
Great for the Clips, probably not so much for the Jazz.
