Just polished off a bottle of Jim Beam, I think I'm going to go break into a pet store and beat a puppy to death. goodnight
You ever had the red stag? It's made by Jim beam and it's fantastic bourbon whiskey. But only the black cherry. Just say no to honey and the cinnamon ****

It was. I rewound it and he caught the ball on the move and took two steps and went up.

Overall I didn't think the refs were bad though.
The scoring droughts killed us.

Yeah, you are allowed to catch the ball and take two steps and go up as long as you catch the ball on the move, right?

I think so. Travelling confuses me in the inconsistent way that it seems to be called.

I see one dude catch the ball while stationary and jab step and dribble and go and get called for travelling.

Then another dude does the same thing and nothing is called.

Or the same guy will do the same thing more than once and will get a different call/no call each time.

Basketball is hard to ref I guess cause I feel the same way about many calls. Flagrants, charges, plays where offensive players create all the contact, hack a shaq etiquette, technicals, etc etc etc.

I hate to say it but challenges might need to added to the nba to get things right in big close games.

I don't really want to stop and slow down the game but some calls are simply egregiously wrong and obvious and totally blown that end up determining games

Is anybody else having trouble sleeping? I care about this team way too much.

I had a girl break up with me once, and I swear it was less painful than some of these Jazz losses this season.

yup, it was the refs fault that we only scored 2 points in the last 4 minutes.

It would be nice if Houston just lost the rest of their games... These last 3 for the Jazz are going to be tough even if we are favored.

Hate to say it, but this loss is the nail in the coffin...I can easily see the Jazz losing the rest of their games now.

@Denver...jazz still reeling from the Clippers loss, show up with no energy
Dallas...Mavs are hot right now, Nowitzki and Deron torch us
@Lakers...Kobe's last game, all the emotions, refs, too much for the Jazz too overcome

We are 89% likely to make playoffs according to prediction sites.

This game was the classic example of all of my fears for this team. At home, playing against the 2nd string, should be an easy win. Jazz don't take them seriously and bang, lose a gimmie-game just like that.

Never should've been that close, let alone gone to overtime. This one hurts.

First of all, blaming the refs on the loss is shameful. Jazz choked this game away after making their run in the fourth. Regardless, the Jazz were beaten by the second unit of the Clippers in a very important game. Kudos to J. Crawford, the Jazz killer, he always seems to shoot the lights out against us.

Favors and Gobert made Aldrich look like an All-star. It seem to me that it wasn't just the fans who thought this game was a shoo-in. It was nice to see Alec play but this young Jazz teams need to develop their MENTAL toughness in these close games. Just a horrible effort considering the importance of the game.

For those of you worrying about the Jazz making the playoffs, perhaps you should've seen the last game Houston played against Phoenix. Both Harden and Howard made unnecessary dumb fouls in the last minute that gave the Sun four free points at the foul line that sealed the win for them. I got the sense that they did it intentionally and that they don't even want to make the playoffs. I think that team is going to be blown up -- Howard definitely will be gone and I think Harden is frustrated with how things have turned out this season.

Did you not read the part of my post you quoted that said overall the refs were not bad?
