What's new

Coach of the Jazz if you had it your way.

Nate McMillan from the Blazers. Impressed with what he has done with all the injuries the Blazer's have faced. Maybe Thibodeaux because of his defensive coaching prowess.

I love defensive minded coaches so I'd say Thibodeau as well. 62 wins last year hard to argue with that.

Sloan

Call me crazy, but I think JazzFanz will be missing Sloan before long this season.

He had his deficiencies, but they were far less than a lot of the other coaches out there.

I really like Nate McMillan, but I think I'd have to go with Craterface Popovich. He's got the rings to brag with and I can remember him completely out-coaching Sloan on more than one occasion.

Not even close? You would take him over Popovich?
The 62-year-old that hitched his career to Tim Duncan and will probably retire with him (even though he's probably still the best coach of all time) Popovich? Yes.

I guess that assumes that linear time is part of the discussion. Which would be friend to Thibs and the enemy to Pops.

edit: misunderstood thread title

as for a coach...I wouldnt mind the Bulls coach. Defense oriented.
